I am a former legal reporter, editor and analyst at Bloomberg Law, where I covered a range of legal topics, from privacy to healthcare to antitrust.
As a legal operations analyst at BLAW, I wrote data-driven pieces on the legal industry, business of law and legal technology and co-hosted a podcast on the future of legal. I have been a solo marketer/marketing director for two legal technology startups, and was an account director at NextTech Communications/The Bliss Group, a NYC-based PR firm, focusing on clients in legal, fintech and other highly regulated industries.
My approach to legal and tech marketing is grounded in content, data storytelling and thought leadership. I am also a strong marketing and content strategist and project manager with experience across digital, social, partnerships, events, growth marketing, multimedia & brand development.
My career has also included practicing law as a commercial real estate attorney in Northern Virginia, policy comms work in Washington, DC and in-house communications at a professional services firm.
I have a B.A. in English from the University of Virginia and a J.D. from William & Mary Law School. I live in Northern Virginia with my husband and our two children.
